She's been 'christened' Ch'Punkin, in honor of my mom, and she's totally loving the cypress mulch that I got for her. I was going to get some eco-earth but the shop only had a knockoff version and I had never used it, so I went with this stuff. I have the bedding about 2" deep since she seems to prefer burrowing into it instead of using hides, and I've put a lot of fake foliage in there to provide some ground-level coverage, so she doesn't feel insecure when she's NOT burrowed.

She's already improved quite a bit in just the last few days, the dimpling is almost completely gone, and she seems more alert. She'll pull into an S-curve when I open the tub to check on her, instead of just lying there. I'd rather have an alert, slightly pissy snake than a listless one...
