I got a male Pueblan Milk hatchling in July. He eats well, and is now about 16" long. I handle him every day, and he has calmed down slightly, but he still musks every time and tries to jump no matter what height I hold him at. I would eventually like to bring him into my science classroom to use in mimicry lessons, but right now he is too skittish.
I know each snake is different, and they all have their own personalities. But, in general, when do Pueblans typically begin to settle down? Do they have to reach a certain size (for example around 2 feet), or is more a function of age?
