21" and growing

captotterboy Oct 04, 2006 02:41 PM

Hey everyone,
Well, she just shed and i measured the skin. It is about 21 1/2 inches long. She is settling in well into her new tank, and the cheesy roman ruins ive added to it make her normal curiosity fun for kids of all ages.

My question is about food. As this big, what size food should she be eating. I think she might be getting a little big for the fuzzies, but im not a good judge of such things.

Thanks,
Jeff

At 21" the snake might be able to take hoppers. If not... Several fuzzies a meal will still be good.

good to hear your snake is doin well ,but a shed measurement could be 25% larger than your animal.that why serpwidgets coputerized measuring system by photo and include a a measurable or measured object.my food guide would be that a prey item of 1.5 the size of the snakes mid-section is a healthy meal, burp
