I keep my WC adult Cal King in a 20L. She's a little over 3.5'. I will be upgrading this month to a either a 36" X 28" or 48" X 28" Vision cage.

I'm all for roomy cages, but IMO (and it is based on trying) those Visions you've mentioned are overkill for a Cal king, and the lip and glass gap may prove to be a pain for such a slender snake.
A glass tank of the size you want may be easier and cheaper, especially for a Cali.
