wirepuller Oct 04, 2006 05:00 PM

hi all,
I am a noob to the snake thing and about a month ago I aquired a ball python, he/she has been really mopey (not active)for about 6 days now. It's eyes got cloudy for 2 days and then cleared up again, is this the normal shedding thing or not?

thanks

Normal shedding from what you've said. Your snake should shed in the next few days if it's eyes have cleared up. One thing I would recommend is to give your snake a soak in luke warm water. I just fill the bath with about 2" of water and let mine swim/soak for about 5 mins. It is supposed to help with shedding.

Good luck

I would soak your ball like the others said.
