What is the largest plastic tub?

rodent-guy Oct 04, 2006 07:09 PM

I'm looking for some very large plastic bins. Anyone
seen any monster sized ones? I see on reptiletubs they
have one that is 20x52" and 14" tall. Anyone seen any
bigger?

Thanks!

Rubbermaid and a few other companies make plastic water troughs some are near 500gal. Probally not what you are looking for but you just said largest plastic tub. LOL

Vision also makes some huge tubs.

76" x 40" x 22"

Jeremy gave some good advice. What size are you looking for, give or take? Are you looking for a deep bin or a shallow bin?

There are also the large concrete mixing tubs. Some of them are pretty large, albeit hard to find. I can't remember if Jeremy mentioned those.

No Chris I didn't mention the concrete mixing tubs but I think I was stuck on being a smart a$$ to realize I missed it.

Now that I look at his handle I probally should mention that I breed rodents for years using Argee's 14gal and 7gal concrete mixing tubs very tough and easy to clean. But the rats if they can get there teeth on it go through it like butter. Then again rats can eat through steel if forced.

Sorry about the smart a$$ comment, and good luck what ever you needs.

Give us some idea of what you intend to house and we might be better able to help. For a traditional tub/tote, the VE175 on Reptiletubs.com is probably the biggest you'll find. Other than that the other guys - Chris and Jeremy, covered the other bases. Mixing tubs, Vision tubs, and stock tanks will be the next biggest 'bins.'
