Burm Sneezed... Help

Mark_D Oct 05, 2006 12:02 PM

Hey Guys,

My new burm just sneezed twice.... I have had him just under 2 weeks. His temps are 92F in the hot spot with a background temp of 84 - 86F.
Have any of your burms ever sneezed for no reason?
I am keeping him on kitchen roll, so it cant be the substrate.

Any advice would be great, I'm a bit bit stressed

Cheers

Mark

Really i wouldnt be all that concerned. My snake sneezes on occasion, especially after a bath. However, if you snake is weezy or gurgling, this could be a sign of an upper respiratory infection which should be treated.

Thanks for the reply
No wheezing and no discharge of any sort.
Mouth is lovely and clean and pink inside.
He has just clouded over, so maybe its the shed cycle irritating his nostrils?

Cheers

Mark
