Someone gave me me two 2'x7' sheets of 1/2" plywood that I want to use to build a cage for a Blue-Tongue Skink. I'm going to be using these plans www.arbreptiles.com/cages/4x2.shtml except the dimensions will be 3.5'x2'x2'. The problem is I'm not sure what type of door I should use. I've heard that you shouldn't use plexiglass with lizards because it scratches really easily. Has anybody had problems with this? I don't care what the door looks like, I'm just looking for something thats cheap and easy to build. Also, what should I use to waterproof the wood?
