Got home late ( like normal--from work of course!!)and found a baby redtail under the rock at the nest cavity "opening"----- no idea as to how many but at least the wait is over!!!! First pure blood redtails in 5 yrs of waiting!!! Now I have to be careful out in the pen!!!

Thats strange so much CHUCK business was taking place that day David, I had just paid for Chewalla a few days before Sept 11th and Paul McIntosh was to send him out , he was about 9 weeks old.
My first chuck I was excited to get him, but Paul emailed and said he could not send the baby chuck, that week as the Post office shut down because of the Anthrax thing, Oh what a horrible time in history that was.
There David, that was my chuck story, hahhahaaa LOL
