Male &Female Panther together full time?

BostonBrian Oct 06, 2006 08:07 AM

Hi everyone,

I have had an adult male panther chameleon for around a year now. He is kept in a heavily planted 175 gallon reptarium stood upright. I would like to get an adult female to breed with him. After all the necessary quarantine period and everything, I was wondering if they could be kept together full time in that setup? Would the male harass the female too much? I'd like to learn from your experiences. Thanks.

Brian

I wouldn't recommend keeping them in the same cage. The stress levels IMHO would lead to problems. Sometimes the stress isn't apparent, but its still there.
