I just got this book yesterday, so I guess theres no point in rating it, but how acuarate is this information, should I buy the $40 book called The Herpetocultural of Leopard Geckos or something like that?

Whats the diffrence between these books.

The manual is the first book I always tell everyone to get a hold of if they are thinking about a leo. I like the fact that it is smaller, as I hope there is a better chance people will ACTUALLY READ the whole darn thing. Our older copy is still sitting on the shelf next to me.

I have both. "The Leopard Gecko Manual" has a lot of good information about keeping your gecko healthy and happy and is a really great beginners book.

I bought "The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos" later on because I was interested in learning about morphs and breeding. The book is a lot more detailed and probably has about just about everything there is to know concerning raising and breeding leos.

So I would start with "Manual" and move to "Herpetoculture" if you feel you want more information.
