I hope it gets brighter! No actually, it is another rescue. My hubby is part of a fishing forum that regularly post pics of "I killed this snake. what is it?" After some corn and hoggie pics I registered and tried a little bit of education, and offered to come get any snakes they find, regardless of what type. Some call, some still post pics. This was a result of another sensless killing of another baby hog. I pipped in and someone said, hey I just found another one like that. So.....I went and got it. I have 3 babies I received like that. And all from different locals. Though I am not in the habit or favor of "harvesting" hoggies, I will not turn down these guys. I look at it like this, alive in my care or dead where they were found. All but this last one are already feeding on pinks. I have high hopes that I will produce babies next year from my adults.
