Something bizzare on the Belly...

bigguykev36 Aug 06, 2003 06:16 AM

On my new male I found a small darkened spot that appears to be under the skin on his belly. My camera sucks so I cannot get a clear shot of the spot with enough detail to see exactally what it is. it's on his upper chest on the right side... any ideas?
cricket bite? bizzare marking? bruise? tumor?
I'm Pretty sure it's not his liver, on inspection it really looks like a marking... but I've never seen a marking come down that far... it's kinda grey-ish with a small slight tangerine area in the middle. any ideas. I'm working on getting a real pic.. but I can't even find my crappy camera... so this'll have to give you a vague idea on what we're dealing with here. Any help is more than appreciated!!!

Heheheh, I have no clue what the mark is, but Kev that artwork looks about like something I could draw. Glad I'm not the only one with minimal artistic abilities. Wish I could be more help bud.

My Super tang (Sunshine) has yellow on her belly you know how usually on the lower side of their sides the coloring stops and turns white well her gradually fads into her belly and can be seen on most of it. Anyone her of that. I was scared that the breeder might have dyed her to make her so orange but its not fading and she is helathy as can be.

It might be some dirt that is stuck, you might want to out her in warm water adnsee if it washes off.

Hi Kev!

I am very happy you are using this forum for information... that is one of the reasons I sponsor it! However, you have not yet ever contacted me directly for any of many questions you have been posting over the past week. I am always willing to offer my help and answer questions, and would be more than happy and willing to take a look at his tummy and tell you what the "mystery spot" is if you are concerned about it.

Thanks,
-----
