Is my leo pregnant? update on my leos

DarkBlades Oct 07, 2006 03:19 PM

Heres a phone pic of my leos bottom. Is she pregnant, I doubt she is, I just think shes big. But my leos have been hanging out in the Rock Mountain doing who knows what, which I made into a hot side humid hide.(There not hanging out in the cool side humid hide I made for them)

Anyways, a health update for my geckos since my last post someone wanted me to keep updated.

First off, The mealworms I got were from reptilefood.com , they didnt ship it at first so I was kind of upset, but the price was Great, 5.50 for 1k of mealworms so I let it slide and paid 5.50 for 50 count at the petshop downtown to hold my leos off. And I actually got it for free since they didnt ship it on the right day.

When the package came it, wow it was alot of worms, I think im good for atleast 2 months.

My male ate a about 5 and went back to the rock, and the female ate all night and now they eat when they want. They are no longer laying there like they were, now there in and out of the Humid Hide(on the hot side). The Hide really changed the way they act, the love that rock. So bottom line, there getting healthier. Good Stuff.

Now as for the breeding, I have been doing my reading on all aspects, atleast the basics of breeding, healths and all that good stuff about having a leopard gecko, I learned that Leos do not breed the 3 months of October, November and December I took down my calenders to make sure they dont know its October BUT I think as a natural instinct they know its October...

I every 6pm and am I turn on and off my sun lamp.

I will keep updated!

The pictures is not all that clear to see for sure if anything is there.

Take a look here www.leopardgeckobreeder.com/ovulation.html and compare your female.
