I'm sure this has been asked before I couldn't turn anything up. Anyways, I've had a CTSMVB and been very hapy with it. Is there any reason I should give the powersun a try? From those of you that have tried both, what's your opinion?

I've tried both, and in my experience with the capture the suns I've noticed they burnt out a lot faster then the powersuns. Maybe just my experience with them, but out of six lights 3 being the CTS and three being the powersuns I only have two original powersuns left. The others had to be replaced. As far as these lights go they are hand made so some do have flaws. It is possible I just had bad luck with them. Also Zoo-med has been really great in exchanging the broken bulbs. If you would like to try the powersuns www.reptiledirect.com has the best prices I've found for them. As far as witch gives better light. I really noticed no differences.

My powersuns have lasted about 7 months, while both of my new capture the suns died in only 5 weeks.
