Where is the best place to place the probe of a helix thermostat on a stack of boaphiles?

On top of one of the cages under the heat pad of the cage above. Use a heat gun to determine what temp on the probe gets you the temos you want in the cages. Don't forget to secure the probe with tape (not foil tape) so it can't slip out.
