He's not using his right foreleg at all. Any advice?
Hard to tell exactly what's wrong from that statement alone.
Is your gecko housed alone or with others?
Are there items in the tank that could fall over or your gecko could fall off of?
Have you dusted your gecko's crickets/mealworms/etc regularly?
Are you dusting with vitamins occasionally too?
You might want to rule out MBD (metabolic bone disease). This occurs because the gecko uses up all the calcium in it's blood stream and starts withdrawing it from the bones. Usually takes about 4-6 weeks to show up. Usually appears as rubbery bones and difficult time walking/climbing. Vet can give you calcionate (liquid calcium drops) to help if that's the case.
Couldn't hurt to take 'em to a vet to be sure.
I would take him or her to the vet. It doesnt really matter if you know for sure hes broke his leg or anything, it oviously isnt normal and as he said, just to be sure a trip to the vet would be good.
Either way I wanted to point out, hes right about the Cal, like humans and other animals, if the body doesnt get enough Cal, it starts to eat the Cal off the bone. Which can lead to weakness.
And just to add, if he has broken his bone somehow, by a attack, or anyway, Cal helps strengthen bones to prevent them from breaking.
Either way, take to the vet. Really hope the little guy is better soon, good luck.
