So i have had a male bearded dragon from some time and and recently bought a female at the chicago expo. I took her home and introduced them and he was bobbing his head and his beard was all puffed and everything as i expected, but i didnt expect him to run over and bite her neck-area and try to mate right then and there. I guess she wasnt having it because she kept moving her legs and trying to get away and after about a minute he stopped and they both went back to bobbing their heads. I think she was already bred this year. Anyways as i am trying to breed them, what should i do? Thanks Phil

You said..."So i have had a male bearded dragon from some time and and recently bought a female at the chicago expo. I took her home and introduced them"...the first thing you should have done was quarantine them for at least 6 weeks. You don't know that the one you bought has nothing wrong with it the day you bought it. Also, is the female full grown? IMHO I wouldn't be breeding her unless she is...it might cause problems.
