Here's a nice CB yellow Ratsnake. Picture taken at Busch Gardens in Va. They've had her for quite a few years.

A lot of yellows will have everglades and even more everglades will have yellow in them.

Here is a yellow I just got yesterday.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little everglades rat in this guy but he is a beauty either way.

Here's my adult pair, but these are older pics....need to get some updated pics of mom and dad.

BillyBoy Oct 10, 2006 12:59 PM

and here they are together in a recent (but not very good pic) as well as some of the babies they produced for me this year. I think these have glades in them as well...

Here's one from Glades County, FL:

same snake:

Another from pretty close by in Glades County (juvenile). You might call this an Everglades rat:

But wait, I actually found him with two others under the same piece of cover:

And here's one from Hernando County, FL, that I found this spring:

Outstanding!

The bright yellow head on the first one looks fluorescent. The high-contrast stripes on the last one are awesome.

Were they keepers?

I might like to have a couple het-for-nothings!

The only ones I've kept are that one from Hernando County, and I've got this female from about 300 feet of that male on the same day within a couple minutes:

They're not as bright yellow as the Okeechobee (Glades County) yellows but they do have high contrast stripes. I was planning on breeding them, but I don't really have the time/space. Send me a PM.
