Hybino Hondurans?

manog Oct 09, 2006 01:38 PM

Hello everyone,

I just saw an add for a hatchling hybino honduran. It was beautiful, however i was wondering, how can you tell it is hybino? What visual characteristics set it apart from a regular albino? I am old to corns and new to milks but always thought that in order to make a sure statement with an animal like that you would have to prove it out first? Any help would be great!

It was produced from a couple hypos that are het for albino. So it has to be both amel and hypo (hybino). There are alot of "possible" hybinos floating around out there but the only true way is the have hypo parents then you know its a hybino. They do look a little different (more pale) but its not enough to seperate them just by looks.

The next thing is the (pearl)or triple homozygous hondo. We know it will just be a hypo snow and who knows if it will look any different. The only way to know is if you have a couple hypo or ghost adults that produce a snow.

Fun Stuff

Thank you for your response. That is what i thought, however isnt possible for hypo het amels to produce just amels that arent hybino's? I guess that was my question?

Thanks again for your help!

In regards to the pearls... This is what has me so interested in the milks. Corn morphs have been around for so long that it is no big deal if you produce a triple homo animal. With milks, things are still fairly new and that is exciting to me!!!!

are hypo and for sure 100% het hypo then any and all amels that are produced will be definite hybinos.
Its just like if both parents are hypos and are het for anery then any anerys produced will be ghosts and just like if you have two anerys that are het amel then any amels that are produced will be snows.
