hey tom,
candy canes are just a line bred albino. they are bred for that distinct look. a hypo gene would not show any differance in the appearance of the snake.

I hate to beat this topic to death but I want to find something cool to breed to this female for the future. My ideas now are to get something to brighten both reds. A super bright red background with bright burgundy saddles is what I'm picturing. Hypo keeping out any black rings.

I'll tell you know my first idea was a hypo okeette. But one with a deep orange back ground. That's probably obtainable this year? But I will breed her to my blood first.

This stuff is addictive, but far to slow for my liking. lol

HAVE YOU TRIED serpentpets.net for a hypo okee?? i know they had a few...not sure they have any left or not... i know thats where i get alot of my critters... i dunno if you care or not, but hes registered with the ACR too.
