Here's the little fella I mentioned in a previous post. He is in much worse condition that I imagined. Dehydrated, stuck shed, underweight and gasping for air. Took a gander inside his mouth and pics below. Poor fella!

He is on Baytril, Hydrolife and I cleaned his mouth out with diluted peroxide. Got most of the stuck shed off. He is very weak and resting in isolation.

wow poor thing.. What is that in its mouth?

Poor fella has a nasty case of mouth rot aka Stomatitus along with an RI. I had never seen pics of mouth rot before, so for educational purposes, I took the pic before I cleaned his mouth.

That would be a bad case of mouth rot! Good luck but I don't think it will make it! Poor thing.

that is the worst case of mouth rot I have ever seen by 100 fold....

That person should be charged with cruelty to animals, it didn't get that sick in a short duration, that's prolonged abuse.

It is partly my fault. He was a friends, and I never checked his mouth. I feel weird giving exams to other people's animals. He had been on Baytril several times in the last few months. He had been sickly since purchase. His owner also says he had been eating good. His owner is somewhat new to snakes and is afraid of getting bit so she avoided the mouth area. I'm going to help her out on her husbandry with any new snake and examine any snakes often.

I'm sorry For coming off very harsh, and also for the loss of the snake.

Your friend had husbandry issues that need to be addressed before another purchase.

I hope you can go through it with her and make sure the tank and general husbandry is fixed.

Again sorry for being so harsh it sucks to lose animals.

Oh yes, we are definitely going over her setup. I believe it was too humid due to frequent misting. Plus, I'm going to examine her new snake every couple of weeks. She is heartbroken. This little fella was Axanthic looking and we had hoped to prove him out.

You did what you could. It says a lot that you tried. He was very sick.. Those pictures were very sad.
