NH show?

salemserpent Oct 09, 2006 10:29 PM

Anybody going to the All New England Reptile show this weekend? I'll be going! I'm hoping to find some female bloodreds and or yellow(green?)amels at the show for my future breeding projects. I'm not, however; expecting to find any. It really sucks living in New England sometimes. A lot of the more interesting morphs will show up at shows as far north as New York. Oh well I'll be keeping my eyes open for anything striking and if I do buy more corns at the show I'll post the pics of my new babies!

You think new england sucks?! Try sw MO! I drove 2 hours the other year to go to a "big" show. Turns out there were only 6 tables. 2 had reptile products but no reptiles. 1 had raccoons and the last 2 had bp's and boas. I was mad! But I did get a bp for $15.

WOW, The monthly Cleveland show rocks compared to that. And we complain each month lol

Columbus is even better.

If I walked into a show and saw 6 tables I would fall on the floor and just start laughing. Then I would demand my money back, plus what I spent on gas to get there. Maybe money for lunch too, depending on my mood.

Thanks for reading.

The All New England show has tons of tables, don't get me wrong; its just that you find the same 6 types of animals over and over. Its not like those huge shows down south. The thing that really sucks is that they only pop up like twice a year-once in October and once in April.

I'm going! I can't wait....I went to my first one six months ago for the April show. I agree that there is a lot of repetition, but there are also some great deals. I missed the Portland show, so there's no way I'd miss this one. Maybe I'll see you there....I'm 5'6, brown curly hair, green eyes....lol.

Portland show was small but nice. There were a lot of great deals there and tons of corns. They said it was their largest turnout.

Btw, its great to know there are other people out there from this area! Maybe I'll see you there!

We just went to the zoo for a few hours and made funny faces at the grizzly bear. BTW never cross your eyes at a penguin! I was pleased to get a bp for $15. This was when they were still around $90. He didn't eat for 3 months but I think that is because my brother kept him in a 10 gallon with a boa for a few weeks. I put a stop to that pretty quick!
