i am trying to identify a snake for a customer at the petstore i work at. he apparently found it in south carolina and is now trying to find out what kind it is because it wont eat anything.. he said it is about 3-4 feet long, grayish with black horizontal stripes... turtles and amphibians are my specialty and i admit that snakes are my weak point.. so im hoping someone knows what it is by the description.. he is supposed to bring it in the the store on thursday so i can take a picture.. i will post if i havent gotten any suggestions by then.. thanks in advance..
