My cousin recently acquired a trio of Nelsoni that he was going to cool for their first time this year and try and breed them this coming March 2007.
Yesterday I witnessed them copulating and I tried to grab a camera but when I came back they had already seperated.
question #1 Have snakes ever bred for anyone this late in the season?
question #2 Will 2 females or 2 males attempt to hook up and look as though they are breeding?
question #3 what are the likely chances that the breeding was a success, how many days or weeks before we can see if it took??
question #4 what would happen if we cooled a possible gravid female??
We want to wait to see if it was a success but if we wait we will have cool her at a later time and we don't want her to be out of circulation
