Black speckling in the JCP...

KeoniKoch Aug 06, 2003 10:32 AM

I got a hatchling JCP a while back that is turning out just awesome. I am planning on breeding for the cleanest yellow possible but the one in question has been getting very noticable black speckling in the yellow. With every shed it travels farther down the body. I am assuming that it will travel the length of the snake. What is everyones preference on this? I am sure that it will give an interesting look but I am partial to clean contrasting pattern. Thoughts? And does anyone have picks of adults with black speckling? Thanks

The one in question is one I picked up from Matt. It shed yesterday and the yellow is just excellent. I think I will really like it more and more as it ages but my goal is more yellow and less black. an added note, there is a large amount of yellow tipping in the black as well.
