leopard geckos feeding time!!!

is it okay to feed leopard geckos dead crickets from a can bought from petsmart or should i feed it live ones and what else do they eat??

You can try the zoomed crickets but none of mine like it. As soon as they smell it they close their eyes and wait until i put something in the cage that moves. i.e. Mealworms, crickets. be sure to dust them with some calcium before feeding your geckos. when they get into the more adult stages they can eat pink mice.

You can also feed them superworms from time to time, and even waxworms as treats. I don't remember if i told you that or not. my geckos hardly eat superworms that's why i say from time to time. i also went for a period of feeding my geckos silkworms, but those things are a pain to keep and my geckos weren't huge fans of them.

Mine would eat the canned mealworms. I ran out of live ones, so I decided to try those. I know alot of people's dont like the canned insects, but mine ate them right up. She'll eat anything, dead or alive.
