Midnight blizzard or blizzard???

salemserpent Oct 10, 2006 11:59 PM

I have a two year old female leo. She was sold to me as a blizzard-but she is purple/lavender in color. Is this a midnight or a blizzard? Sorry about the wash-out from the camera. I'm thinking about breeding her. Any ideas? I'm open to any suggestions.

With her greenish pigment it almost looks to be a patternless. It's pretty hard to tell by that pic. Try and get a better pic and I'll be able to tell you. Thanks, Sam

Yep, that's a midnight.

It's funny, we had always wondered why she was purple. My wife and I bought two "blizzards" from two separate breeders. The male stayed very pale and typical blizzard looking, and she just kept getting darker and darker. It's nice to know that there's a reason she's so dark!
