I'm horrible with plants. What kind of plant is this and is it safe to put in with cresties. Also if you know, tell me any information that you know about this plant.
Thanks

I've seen them sold under the name "butterfly plant". As cresteds don't eat foliage, it should be perfectly safe. I just try to stay away from plants with toxic sap - if a leaf or stem is damaged, geckos might ingest the sap. Most tropical plants require bright indirect lighting, and moderately moist soil. Hope this helps.

Ok, so this doesn't have the toxic sap or anything in it that's toxic?
Not that I'm aware of. Since cresteds don't eat plant leaves, I really wouldn't be too concerned. It's different if you have herbivorous reptiles. That plant should be fine. One thing you should consider when selecting plants is stability. Sometimes plants look great and are safe, but get trampled when cresteds climb and jump on them. Are the stems pretty strong?

Well, I mainly want to put them in there because they are really long. I want to rap them around the branches. I have some pothos and philodendron in there right now, but they aren't as long as I want them to be. The stems are just as strong as the ones in there now and they seem to be doing ok on them.
Thanks
I Have a mix of plants in my different creasted tanks. I found that a lot of different plan types work well with the cresteds. And They sure do love sleeping in them. I have used pothos, ivy, dracena, Bamboo, ground bromileads, And If you want a native plant then use birds nest ferns, And one of their favorite plants is the snake plant. Hopre theis helps!
