TURTLE PICS for all of you

oger6 Oct 11, 2006 10:11 AM

I don’t post all that often, and I finally got around to putting all of my pics up on webshots. I just want to know what you guys think

Some background info

The pen is 20ft by about 6.5ft, it has a 4 foot waterfall that is pond less. I dug down at least a foot and 2feet on the right side of the pen. I have 7 turtles all captive except for 1 long term captive that I rescued from sure death from a kid who found it crossing the street and kept it for a few years. I took the pics with a cannon sd600 and a Kodak dx7630. the entire setup coast me around $500 (including waterfall) and took about 2 weeks straight to do everything. It was worth every penny, watching them thrive is so enjoyable, and after taking organic chemistry this summer I needed to do something like this.

I have been so stressed with my exams this week that I had to take a brake and set up my turtle pic online. I go to Rutgers and im finishing up my last semester. My parents are taking care of them for me until I finish up im December.

Thanks for looking and let me know what you guys think of the pics

Neat photos. You have some nice looking boxies. Do you have to fill their soaking tray daily or is it somehow connected to the waterfall water supply?
