That's why I would never breed an 18 inch horse. 
A corn is not a cal king. I've kept a lot species of snakes in the past and I found it easier to breed a smaller cornsnake than a smaller cal king or a smaller rosy boa.
Still interesting though.........

I bought the puny cornsnake you are referring to.She only eats when she wants to.It has really been frustrating.I also bought a w/c male from the same place.Just now got him to eat period!I won't be dealing with these peeps again!I'll probably never breed the female,if so,it will be a good while.Lesson learned. P.S. Both of these snakes were advertised as "eating". Jeff
