My redtail eggs started hatching today. I will let you know how many when they are finished. I am excited especially since it is my first year with the redtails!

I have a couple of photos of the bunch. Can you tell which are Banded and which are Redtail? It is curious but the RedTails have red in their light bands and the Banded do not. They are the a lot of fun. Little poo munchers and eat lots of mixed veggies. Of course dandelion flowers are their favorite!
I had a 40% hatch rate this year so I will take what I have learned and try to increase that next year. I will have 4 females at breeding age next spring so hopefully I will have greater opportunity for success.
