Whats The Matter?

My new bearded has black lines on his belly. Ive heard this is a sign of stress. And he seems to have them most of the time.

Ive had my new bearded dragon for about 2 1/2 weeks. He has a great 30 gallon tank, with all the furnishings he would need. He eats many crickets daily, his dandelions and all his greens. I pick him up with no problem from him and hold him daily.

Just wondering whats going on here.

Could be stressing him by holding him too much. As he as barely had time to settle in, I suggest not holding him every day, at least not for a few more weeks. Even if he isn't moving or fighting, he could simply be too scared to try and run, falling back on the instinctive habit of freezing and relying on camoflage to avoid detection by predators.
