Vitamins

Just when i think I have things all figured out....

While looking into vitamins I know that I will need a calcium supplement and one with phosphorus as I plant to feed my dragon food pellets, veggies, and a limited amount of insects. I also know I will need a D3 supplement but it seems that everything is either calcium, calcium with phoshorus, or calcium with D3. Is there anything you know of with all three ingredients or, can I buy a calcium phos AND a calcium D3 without having to worry about overdosing my dragon on calcium? lol

You do not want a calcium powder with phosphorus. You want one without it. So what you are looking for is calcium without phosphorus but containing Vitamin D3. Or if you want to give more calcium and not have to worry about giving too much D3, then buying calcium without phosphorus alone, will be fine as well. Most multivitamins also contain some vitamin D3 as well, but multivitamins can't be given as often as calcium. However, care must be taking not to give too much calcium, as too much can cause as much problems as too little, hence it is much better to try and provide the most varied diet as possible and not rely on giving too much supplimental calcium.
