I've had a number of snakes previously including Okeetee Corns. Been out of it for a couple years.

Caught a hatchling corn the other day in my yard. Very clean looking July/August hatchling.

Hatchling has red/orange spots starting about two-thirds up from the tail. Last few spots on the head/neck are quite orange.

Is there anyway to tell what the adult colors will be based on the colors of the hatchling?

not really....b/c with each shed they change. especially when they are babies. i know my okees and miamis are almost anery-like in color before they shed and get redder with each shed. thats why its so hard to decide keepers and sellers. well, for me anyway...
