Out of 24 in my first clutch all but one have hatched. We have one that isn't in very good shape but all the others(22)are running all over the place. They are a lot of work but they are so cute!! The one little guy was born with his egg sack still attached and his arm all twisted backwards somehow. The egg sack has fallen off but his back is still severly arched and he barely opens his eyes or eats anything. I am not sure what I am going to do. I have been told that the most humane thing to do is put him down. That may be true, but I don't know if I can do it!! I am definitely busy all the time now!!
Well, I'm sorry to hear that you have one that is having problems. It's always sad to see that happen and really hard to do what needs to be done. However, if you don't he'll just suffer and so will you watching him starve to death or just pass from complications after spending so much time with him.
On the brighter side, you have 22 healthy ones! That's great! I can't wait for mine to start hatching. Can you post some pics?
Good Luck,
Robert
