diggy415 Oct 13, 2006 09:31 AM

Can you all post what camera you are using, how well you like it, the app cost and a sample? im looking for another one and is zoom more important than MP? so if i want a close up on a snake eye and to see all the veins what is one using? anyway im looking for pic's with cameras used to help me decide.
right now i have a minolta 6.0 3x 3zoom im happy with it but it's falling apart and looking for crisper shots especially of snakes.
thnks.

Sony Cyber-shot 3.2 mega pix:

How do I like it? I dont. Its garbage. But it gets the job done. The only real thing I dont like about it is that its slow inbetween takeing pictures, and while the pictures are bing taken you have to hold real still for about a half a second or you'll just get a blurred mess. I just want it to be faster... Its also starting to crap out a bit on me but Ive been useing it more than the average camera would be used for the last 3 years.

Nikon D50 6.1 mega pix(SLR)

I borrow my dads camera when I want nice picture. I really like this one. Lots of options, quick shutter, clear pictures, and high resolution. It really works out good. it runs about $500 so Im going to have to keep borrowing it untill after the holidays Ha.

I use a Nikon D50....I like it...but it would be better if I knew how to use it ...It is a digital SLR 6 MP and I believe bodies can be bought for around $499...not sure...I bought it a while ago for $599 + lenses.

I should note that price does include one lense.
I love my camera and wouldn't trade it for anything.

We have a Nikon Coolpix 7900 7.1 ... less than 300.00. Not bad at all for the price. We know where to get a good deal on them too.

If you are looking to take good close ups,you are going to want a higher optical zzom, and be less concerned with digital zoom.
At some point I may get a nice camera, but I dont need to see veins in eyes right now.
All the pictures below were taken using an olympus D390, which went for about 150 new, back in 03.It's a 3.2 mp, budget camera, but gets the job done for me.

I have taken a step back from boa forums and only post every once in a while. I am getting ready to move, out of the apartment and into a house, so I have been reading up about dogs.
Joe is doing about the same as he always is, always looking ahead and up,no matter what goes on around him.He did manage to sell out of the motleys and I have seen some of his kids posted here recently. It's easy to say what market value is when you aren't trying to sell them. What the buyers wanted to pay, and what the seller could take leveled out at about 3000. I can only imagine how long he would have had to keep them if he had taken all of the "helpfull advice" from all of the motley people who tried to get him in on the price fixing deal. I guess maybe none of them have ever gone through trying times and needed money quickly.

I tried to post my camera/pic info, but it took too long to type out and it threw me off the thread and had me re-sign in. Didn't know it would put it up as a new thread....Look a few posts up (LauraV) and you will find the reply that was supposed to be in your thread.
Sorry about that.
