My adult male frequently steps on his droppings making a bit of a mess in the enclosure,he is not tame enough to take a bath so I have to rub his underside my self.What kind of soap would you use for such a purpose?

Neutral soaps are best. Anything that is fragrance-free, etc.
Neutrogena for example.
Or, you can use those gentle baby-wipes (I use them on our puppy).
Then again, if you're able to wash/soap/wash an iguana, you should be able to let it have a soaking once in a while, and relieve itself. Do remember to IMMEDIATELY remove the animal upon defecating, clean/sterilize the tub/container, and make sure the animal is clean from contaminated water.
Contact with the animal's feces increases risk of salmonella.
