...... to go relax and collect their thoughts!

I like to visit the 'Great Wall of Boaphiles'

Big thanks to Jeff for supplying such nice cages and help making our new breeding facility come together. There is 72, 421D's set up already and we have not even started the center isle down the middle!

Thanks for looking,

Very nice Mike but, where are all the snakes?
If only we had the space for all those Boaphiles...!!

BASICALLYBOAS Oct 13, 2006 07:32 PM

...I am not putting snakes in them. I just put up the cages to admire their beauty! LOL
The pic was taken prior to me moving the Boas into the new building.

ons:
I love the wheeled platforms the cages are resting on. Did you make those yourself? If so, do you have any instructions for doing so? It is probably a very easy feat for most here, but I am tool disfuctional. Without instructions of some kind, I would end up with a lopsided monstrosity.
One final thing...when you wheel the stacked cages around, do they sit tight, rock and roll, or threaten to tip at all?

What a magnificent setup! Congrats. If I had that space my wife would have to file a missing persons report, because I'd never come out!

Yes, I did make them myself. They are constructed from 2"x4"s, 4"x4"s, 1"x4"s, 2" casters and 1/2" foam. I do not have any instructions, but these pics might help out a bit. They wheel out from the wall with ease without any teetering or threat of toppling over.

With these pictures, perhaps I can find someone local here to help me with them.
I was hoping boaphile would put out a matching plastic wheeled platform, but this will work just as well.
Thank you again.

have comfortably moved from room to room without them tipping, leaning, falling, rocking and rolling, etc...

I've gotten rid of many other name brand cages for this reason... having to move them around was like starting over...

These things slide across the room in a breeze... and with those awesome pedestals Mike made, even better!

Mike - SWEET setup... when I buy many of them, I make stick/ball figures out of all the green tape I rip off them and ball up to throw away... lol.. wich I saved pics... I had an army of them! lol

Take care, Joe

Come on, Big Mike, aren't those cages a bit of an over-kill for those baby Paradigms? Or maybe, just maybe ... do they really grow that fast?

Anyways ... looking good!

Bill

PS: Come back and visit anytime to the Midwest ... but ... be sure to bring Steph with you (much more pleasing to the eyes).

Mike,

How are you going to reach the top cage. LOL.

.....when you are 4'-11" you tend to improvise!
I use an extension ladder of course!
Had a great time partying with you in Chicago even if I only caught every third word you said!! LOL
Thanks bud!

Those babies are beautiful, but do the Boas love them? Have you had to clean much baby Boa goo in those cages yet Bigg Mike? I know I was shipping cages out for over a year before that building was ready for them. Sure those cages can be beautiful as a brand new Paradigm Boa but goo is where it's really at! That's what really counts.

.....I set up a stack of cages in a spare bedroom this last season as I was out of space, and wouldn't you know it the two litters of Paradigms we had this year were born in them! LOL
I just put a stack of cages up with the heat on a timer and hoped for the best and BAM! Two litters of Paradigms!
Thanks again.
