Cork sticks in cages..

AndrewFromSoCal Oct 14, 2006 02:28 PM

After I cleaned my cages yesterday, I took out their sticks. I had never seen them use it, and now they can stretch out more. Does anyone see their corns on the sticks? If so, i'll put em back in.

not quite sure what you are asking? I personally have obsticles in the snakes' cages for the snakes to crawl over. It keeps good muscle tone. If that is what you are asking, it is up to you. If you think it takes up too much of the cage, don't use it. I just think it is better for the snakes to get exercise by crawling over and around things. Of course, I do not clutter my cages, either. Your call.

those were older pictures. I no longer have reptile carpet in my display cases (or geckos either). But, it should give you an idea on how I do things. Most tanks have something for the snakes to crawl over. If that was not the question, though, sorry. lol

i use small-large cardboard boxes, i work at a pet store so we get a ton of odd shaped boxes frm lightbulbs to tank protectors, so i bring them home cut them up and make obsticles and hides for all my little guys, just keep things interesting for them

That was my question. I understand giving them something to do, I just never see them on anything. maybe i'll just leave em in so they're not at a loss for fun.
