some interesting questions and finds

Kingsnakes can breed with a few other species, and make interesting hybrids ex. jungle corn. Well i came across a great basin gophersnake and it seems to have very distinct colors and pattern like a longnose snake. I know longnoses and kings are different species but they are related.

if anyone can give any insight on this please do so

Any pics? I'd love to see that. Where did you come across this snake? It stands to reason that if kings and gophers can mate then longnoses and gophers ought to be able to mate as well. Longnoses are one of the local (SoCal) snakes that I'm interested in.
