She's looking really nice herself! Looks as if she's has put on some more size. They should breed for you this coming spring. She has a lot of speckles on her for a female for that locality. I say that, because I have found SO many holbrookis in that area. I used to live near that area for about three years back in the late eighties, and found more holbrookis there than I have of any other subspecies! (That's considering I have lived & collected all over Texas, California, Georgia, and of course Louisiana in my years in the Army). Those two should produce some awesome young for you! Have you tried to breed that Halloween Hoggie yet? Thanks for the nice pics!!!

Thanks Zee!, Yeah they've both grown right much.I plan to breed them this spring.Found out it is illegal to breed eastern hogs in Va.,in fact you can own 5 max. legally! This doesn't make any sense, because around here people kill everyone they see.I have 2 adult females that are larger than him. Send them to me, I will breed 'em for you, and send you 5 back, lol! That is truely sad that you can't breed them. My daughter lives in Richmond area and I was hoping to get up there next spring to collect a few snakes. Guess the permits are steep? P.s. nice specks!

??? Can't breed hogs, but you can own them??? That doesn't make ANY sense at all!!! VA is all backwards on that one! You sure they're not talking about Southern Hogs? You want me to come up there in the spring, breed them for you (here in NC), and then return them to you after a couple of weeks - Then you'll just be stuck with a gravid female (that YOU didn't breed), LOL!!!
BUT anyway . . .
Glad to hear that the Specks are doing good!!! You'll get some nice babies out of that pair!
