how much does an adult JCP weigh?

redmoon Oct 15, 2006 03:13 PM

My female JCP is about 6 feet long, and on the thick side. She's not obese, but pretty hefty. I'm looking to pick up a scale, to weigh my animals(specifically geckos, and snakes during breeding), and I want to make sure I get something that will hold everything I have. I don't want to find out that if I would have spent $5 more, I could have gotten a scale that'd weigh my Jade.

So, can anyone tell me about what she'd weigh? A rough estimate is more than enough; I just need to know if I need a scale that covers 3,000 grams, or 5,000 grams, or whatever.

Our 8' coastal weighs just about 5000g, so I would imagine that if you got a scale that went up to 5000g or 6000g you should be good for the rest of her life. OH, and post some pics of her will you?!?
