I hate the fact that ghosts have a BAD rep.. I think in the past shuffle, people were racing to make those DH's and homozygous ghosts and weren't being very selective with their breeders.. Some of the most AMAZING boas I've seen are ghosts and anerys. I remember seeing Basically Boas posting a picture of an adult female ghost last Halloween and I just fell in love with the morph, I tracked down the nicest looking one I could find to help add to the pile of amazing designers. It would be GREAT if Mike could post a picture of that female again. I'm hoping to contribute to the production of BEAUTIFUL specimens with this male along with my insane anery female.. This is my male super ghost, he's a little over 5'.

thats a stunning looking ghost , i agree they are underrated , here is a photo of my ghost, i have got 2 double hets to go with him as well , plus a pair of anerys

My computers colors are off so I was hoping you could describe what the true colors are on the tail. From what I am seeing it looks a little blue in color, like a baby blue. Is that correct? I myself have never been a fan of Ghosts because they didn't look anything but normal. Do the babies show much coloring or does it really start to show as they grow? Thanks!

Very nice.. I've actually noticed that ALL neonate ghosts are pretty good looking, we need to start worrying about how they look as adults..

That is the main problem with the ball python market. A lot of breeders just try to produce as many babies as they can without any thought as too quality. Then they complain when they can't sell them, and the price dropping starts.

Luckily there are a lot of boa breeders who know that quality animals will sell faster and for more money. Sadly though not many of them work with Anerys.

Anerys are my favorite morph. I guess that is just a relic of my other love...black & white photography

I hope to make anerys and ghosts with this one in the near future. I'll be as happy as can be if she can reproduce anerys anf ghost like her.

That's a sweet Anery. She's real clean, hopefully she doesn't darken too much after breeding. Now you just need to find a Hypo that isn't too orange/yellow.

I better start to save up some money.

seeing too much of that girl. Not possible to see enough of her. I'm waitng to get any ghosts until she produces them. I normally do not like anery/ghosts...but she gives a new meaning to anery.

A Clean True Anery will smoke even the majority of Super Ghost at the adult level. I guess its kind of expected when the mutt strains get mixed the way they do.

Chris, that IS the picture I was refering to.. If all Ghosts looked like that as adults, the morph might actually command some high dollars.. I know people can say "It's just a ghost" but I'd like to see you try and find an adult like that... To me, that animal is way up there on the "Cool" list..

I agree. That is an awesome ghost. I wish more people would try and produce ghosts with selective breeding. I think there are some awesome ghosts waiting to be produced. I have DH's that will be ready next year. They should produce some awesome ghosts. I can't wait. Also could you post a pic of your insane anery? I would love to see her.

WOW. She is awesome. You will produce awesome ghosts. Sometimes it can be hard to find good looking anerys but when you find one they are hard to beat when it comes to looks.
