Very predictable answers. I pretty much knew what your stance would be on the subject.
I was on a rabbit breeding forum not too long ago. The forum made no distinction between rabbits bred for meat and pet, so the posts came from both sides. You can imagine the postings going on (murderer!, how could you kill such a beautiful little face, etc, etc). Terrible situation! While I myself have no ethical dilemna when it comes to distinguishing between a pet and a meat animal, I can understand where the other side of this discussion is coming from.
Yes, I fully understand your position. The picture you posted of the Giant silk moth was beautiful, BTW. If I was to ever acquire 'bugs'(symantics, I'm using this as a generic term for arthopods) from you (hypothetically) for feeding, I would definitely let you know my intentions. And I would completely understand when you would take back your 'bugs' and tell me 'not with MY babies!' in the politest terms you could muster .
