I have a male tricolor het for anery. I know this because he has had at least 2 anery babies from each of the clutches he has fathered. My female het died this year so I had to find a new female.
I have one of his female anery hondo's I am raising to breed.
Questions ......
1. If I breed him back to the female anery from his clutch - I should get some anery babies plus 66% het anery from the rest????
2. I picked up a anery het subadult male tangerine who - if I breed him with the anery female, should produce the same type of clutch as the father tricolor above ??? -ie. I should get some anery babies plus 66% het anery from the rest????
3. I also picked up an adult female ( supposedly double het for ghost). what is the ghost genes and if I breed her with my tricolor male ( het for anery) will I get any anery babies.
what does it take to get an albino clutch?? does the anery or ghost het have the genetic makeup to get an albino baby??
I know the female I have is only possible dbl het for ghost ( if there is such a thing) and you never know .. I got her from a show -so maybe the best I can hope for is some more anery babies. She does have some bands that are slanted and she has a slight look of an aberant hondo.
Sorry for all the questions - any thoughts??
Thanks
Chris
