A picture and a couple breeding questions.

Simbo Feb 07, 2003 09:03 AM

Here are a few pictures of my female. I am not so sure that she is gravid. What are the chances that my male courted her from Nov. 27th to Jan. 18th and she never got pregnant (gravid)? How long does the swelling last (ovulation)? I was positive that she was going to take, but now I'm just not sure.
Thanks,
Eric

Here she is last night.

Did she swell at all.

Has her feeding behavior changed any?

When did the male stop breeding her?

Does she move from the hot side and cool side of the cage at the same time everyday?

1. Did she swell at all?
I haven't noticed any swelling that really cought my eye (abnormally large swelling).

2. Has her feeding behavior changed any?
I am going to try and feed her tonight. So far she has been a great eater. She ate everytime I have offered her food. She ate every two weeks during the courting.

3. When did the male stop breeding her?
The male breed her from Nov. 27th to Jan. 18th.

4. Does she move from the hot side and cool side of the cage at the same time everyday?
Yes, actually I have noticed this. She is definately spending more time on the hot side of the cage than she used to.

Thanks for your help, let me know if you need more info.
