some more pics....

Definitely a hoax!
Notice how grainy the pics with the man are and compare them to how clear the other pics are. A common digital image editing practice used to make two pictures blend in and look as if they're one.

eating a man leg first aint going to happen.
A friend e-mailed the same pics to me a few months ago and I'm satisfied that if they were genuine we would've heard more about it.
I couldn't tell for sure if the man had been eaten feet first or head first. I might've overlooked a detail somewhere, though.
Besides the grainy pics, another thing I pointed out to the person that sent them to me & asked if it was true was how one of the man's arms was bent at the elbow. Unless the snake ate the man after arigamortis had set in, I'd imagine that both arms would be down by his side (if swallwed head first) or up by his head (if swallowed feet first).
Rarely a dull moment with the Internet.
Take care!

The grainy pictures, I have not seen before and don't see enough to say for sure. Obviously the group of pictures don't go together though. Why would you take pics of the snake out in good light with a decent digital camera and then drag it somewhere dark and take the important pics with a bad film camera? That doesn't help much with the credibility...
Also, the good pics are obviously of a snake that ate something more "round", like a pig or a sheep.
i dont think the photographer was concerned with camera angles and proper lighting. it appears to ME that the man was swallowed head first. photo shop could have been used. people from this part of the world tend to be skinny enough to be eaten by a large enough snake. i just hate to see the python killed. people suck!!!!!!!!!
Something about that crossed arm doesn't look right, either. I agree with you, though, people suck. That is, with the exception of reptile lovers!!!
