Male Hemipenes

I was taking one of my studs out today and noticed he only had one buldge now. I've been through a lot of gecko's in the past years and never seen such a thing. It's definately possible that I've overlooked it sometimes. Anybody else have the same problem? Sam

...vet? If your a experienced, as you sound and you don't know what this is, I would take to the vet..., thats what I would do, but hey, I learn from your tips too.

Hope the leo turns out okay.

Oh and just to say, In the Leo Manual it shows that eggs can get stuck in females and create some sort of buldge. But Im guessing thats not the case with you because you have a stud.

Never seen that before. Weird. Doesn't exactly seem like something that would be detrimental to his health.

Have you always owned him? He may have had a prolapse and one of his hempi's either fell off or was amputated. You would see it sticking out and there may be blood as it dries so I would think it would be noticed. I supose he could be born without a member, lol.

I've always owned him. I hatched him out 3 years ago. Never seen anything wrong with him. It's a weird thing to happen though. Hopefully he is still one of my top breeders. That's the only thing I am worried about, his health seems fine.

Mr Bobbit probably wishes he had that kind of redundancy.
