I'm not sure I have read anything that could be bad other than the recent E.coli problems so I doubt you will even be able to purchase any.

Due to the high oxalic acid content, spinach is not a good choice at all.
You're better off with collards, kale, romaine lettuce, turnip greens or mustard greens: collards especially have a high calcium content which is important for your turtle.
